Breath of Fresh Air...all white.

This one if for the cool chick, the rebel, the unconventional bride, the girl who never thought she would find prince charming, the one who did not think of herself as girly, in fact she didn't ever want a wedding. BUT when she found true love, she found her soft side, she is doing it simple, she is doing it ALL. She is being girly without the fluff. I lOVE IT!

Let's face it, we all want to do our event somewhat "different" from what we have seen in the past..BUT sometimes "different" can be TACKY! and boy have I seen that!

Seems like every engagement I have gone to in the last 2 years..have ALL been the same! By doing Mexican Food instead of whatever your family normally eats or having a band instead of a DJ YOU ARE NOT BEING ORIGINAL!

So, what about keeping things SIMPLE! Yes, this is coming from the same girl who loves the outrageous over the top centerpieces, lights, decor, and 5star food! BUT it's an engagement...do it with class but keep it light, fun, and SIMPLY beautiful!

Here is what I am talking about. Sham, here are some ideas for your ranch engagement!! lol <3

IF YOU LIKE A LITTLE BIT OF DRAMA AND THE COLOR BLACK (LIKE MYSELF) THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

summer event, yellow and green

I love this table setting for a summer event! I tried to keep things simple (sometimes hard to do) and only focus on the details, which would give it this fresh and beautiful look!

betsey johnson

A few months ago, I had the privilege of working for Betsey Johnson to plan her grand opening at Century City. When I think of Betsey I think of fun, over the top glitz, glam, and of course PINK, PINK and more PINK!!! So, I wanted to have this grand opening be over the top FUN with lots of pink touches! We had pink champagne, pink cupcakes, a DJ, gorgeous models, I had our very own stage built for our  fashion show, passed out pink goodie bags, and of course I had to design a dress made out of flowers for Betsey! We had a blast! Make sure you guys visit them at their beautiful new store or online at www.betseyjohnson.com .

That's the amazing Elaina, doing the final touches on the models before they hit the stage! Check out her work on www.elainasmakeup.com . There I am on the right ,wearing a beautiful Betsey colorful dress, posing with Monica..one of Betsey's best employees!
